Dr. Gutierrez graduated at the top of her class from the Health Sciences University (CES) in Colombia, then completed her pediatric dentistry residency and earned her Master of Science in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry with over 30 years of experience caring for children in Lake County.
Dr. Rutcosky is a lifelong Chicagoland resident who earned his dental degree from Northwestern University before completing his specialty and Master's degree in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Alrayyes is a full-time Clinical Associate Professor and Clinic Director at the University of Illinois Department of Pediatric Dentistry, where she earned her MS in Oral Sciences. She is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board and Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Compton earned her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University before completing her specialty and Master's degree in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Bright colors, kid-scaled furniture, and play areas that make the wait disappear. Parents get comfortable seating and a calm, unhurried atmosphere, no rushed energy, no clinical anxiety in sight.
Overhead TVs in every room let kids choose what they watch. Temperature, lighting, and pace are all calibrated around the child. Parents are always welcome to stay, no separation, no surprises.
Some children need a little more time, a quieter environment, or a gentler approach. Our team has been caring for children with special needs since 1994 and we know how to adjust to meet each child where they are. Our team is experienced in working with anxious patients and takes the time to build trust before beginning any treatment. For children who need additional support, we offer nitrous oxide and general anesthesia. We will always discuss the options with you beforehand and recommend only what is appropriate for your child.
